I’ve always been inspired by nature and her wonderful creatures. My first photograph was taken when I was eight years old of a walrus at Brookfield Zoo near Chicago. It wasn’t until I moved to Japan that I learned about form and presentation.But my main inspiration comes from sharing the beauty and wonders of our natural world with others in the hope that they too may care enough to preserve and protect the last fragments of our planet where man is nothing but a visitor.

UWOL has and continues to be an incredible experience for me. First and foremost has been the camaraderie and friendships I’ve made across the globe. It’s like putting on warm winter coat being with people who have the same passion for nature that I do. I look forward to making more films next year, the year after and for as long as I can hold a camera in my hand.
